I have to admit that I went into The Christmas House expecting much, much less than what it ultimately delivered. This isn’t the first Hallmark movie with gay characters this year; that honor probably goes to Christmas with the Darlings, although I haven’t watched all of the 127 Hallmark movies that have aired over the past 3 weeks. But still, that film (along with another coming out soon) features gay characters in supporting roles.
